CNA Training Classes
Saint Elizabeth Home and Saint Elizabeth Manor offer training courses to prepare individuals to become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). CNAs are the primary caregivers to the elderly and individuals with chronic illnesses or recovering from a surgery. They are responsible for assisting with personal care, feeding, transporting, and documenting changes in conditions.
The 10 -12 week CNA training courses are held several times a year, and consist of both classroom work and clinical experience. Course instructors work with students as mentors and tutors to prepare them for the state certification exam, and students that successfully complete the program have the opportunity to work within Saint Elizabeth Community after graduation.
