Bequests and Deferred Gifts
Consider making a Charitable Bequest or a Deferred Gift
Remembering Saint Elizabeth through a bequest or estate plan has been a tradition since our founding and is a vital source of funds enabling us to meet the needs of elders and their families.
- Bequest gifts, unless otherwise designated by the donor, fund the Saint Elizabeth Endowment Fund (established in 1887) to ensure future financial stability. Donors may designate their gifts to any Saint Elizabeth Community location or program. We are happy to work with you to establish a special fund within the Community.
- The Endowment is permanently invested and a small percentage of the income is used each year to bridge the gap between the cost of our services and the amount of reimbursement we receive. It is managed and monitored by professional investment advisors and the Investment Team of the Saint Elizabeth Community Board of Trustees.
- Bequests and deferred gifts may be made in memory or in honor of a person. We are pleased to work with donors and their advisors to develop a gift plan that meets their needs.
- Those who notify us of their intent to make a gift of $10,000 or more are invited to join The Sarah Hallett Society, our donor recognition group. For more information, please contact Erica Bryson at 401-773-7414 or via email.
