Saint Elizabeth Community has two locations that provide short-term rehab: Saint Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich, 401-471-6060 and Saint Elizabeth Manor in Bristol, 401-253-2300.
Saint Elizabeth Home has 28 short term rehab beds and a fully equipped rehab gym. Patients often plan ahead by notifying our admissions coordinator of upcoming surgery, or advising of a hospitalization and likelihood or need for short term rehab.
Saint Elizabeth Manor has built/renovated a new rehab wing with 28 rehab beds. The Rehab Center at Saint Elizabeth Manor has a fully equipped large rehab gym, a separate, new rehab entrance and café. The spacious patient rooms are equipped with phone, tv, electric beds and recliners. The new wing also has plenty of space for patients to visit with guests.
Nursing and rehab care helps patients gain strength, and improve stamina and often return home.
Rehab may be needed:
- after a hospitalization for a planned or unplanned surgery
- after an illness
- after an accident
Our Multi-disciplinary Care
A team of caregivers work together to provide care to short term rehab patients. Nursing and Therapy staff work together to help patients meet their goals following physician orders.
Rehab staff includes:
- Physical Therapists
- Occupational Therapists
- Speech Therapists
Additionally patients are supported and cared for by nursing staff consisting of RNs, LPNs, Med-Techs, and Certified Nurses’ Aides. Rehab services are available seven days a week, and a plan of care is established by the team upon admission. Each rehab length of stay varies pending individual patient need, patient progress, and insurance coverage.
