Skilled Nursing

Registered Nurses manage the care of our clients. They work with the Physician and Client’s Family to coordinate all necessary services.

These services include:

  • Skilled assessment
  • Registered nursing
  • Catheter care/changes
  • Diabetic teaching
  • Medication instruction
  • Education on disease management
  • Bathing and other personal care
  • Teaching ostomy care
  • Wound care/dressing changes (certified wound care specialists on staff)
  • Nutrition counseling
  • Ostomy management

Home Rehabilitation

Home RehabilitationCathleen Naughton Associates offers Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy to our clients. The purpose of this part of our service is to increase the client’s level of independence in activities such as stair climbing, walking and all of their activities of daily living.

Physical Therapists

Our Physical Therapists assess our clients rehabilitation needs and potential, and develop and implement a physical therapy program.

These services include:

  • Therapeutic Excercises
  • Range of Motion
  • Specialized Treatments

Occupational Therapists

Our Occupational Therapists assess our clients needs – develop goals – adapt the needed equipment to the clients use – teach compensatory technology.

These services include:

  • Assessment
  • Plans – Implements and supervises therapeutic programs

Social Work Services

Social Work ServicesCathleen Naughton Associates provides the resources of a Master’s Level Social Worker, to assist our clients in their social service needs. We provide counseling for the patient and family. Assisting families and clients with alternative living, decision-making and networking with other agencies is all in a days work for us. Assessment for mental functioning like dementia, anxiety, depression, mood disorder or psychosis to name a few can also be part of the process.

These services include:

  • Counseling for the patient and family
  • Assessment for mental functioning
  • Supportive interventions to support nursing care
  • Crisis intervention
  • Conduct family meetings to address family dynamics
  • Assist families with networking with other agencies
  • Help families and clients with alternative living and decision-making
