Saint Elizabeth Home is a skilled nursing and rehab center with 168 beds. Offering both short term rehab and long term care, Saint Elizabeth Home is highly regarded for the exceptional quality care it provides in a beautiful setting.
Saint Elizabeth Home opened in 1882 in Providence, and moved to East Greenwich, RI in 2001 (directions). Bright rooms with modern conveniences make each individual's stay a pleasant experience. A secure living area for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and/or dementia is located on the first floor. Upstairs on the second floor is our short term rehab wing, situated around the rehab gym, and our long term care wing. Hospice care is provided by specially trained staff in conjunction with outside hospice providers.
This garden is a beautiful oasis, used by residents in need of memory care. It provides a peaceful area for visiting, gardening and simply enjoying the outdoors in a secure, beautiful space. It has a tranquility pond, raised garden beds and outdoor seating.
Other common spaces include an 800 square-foot chapel, a coffee shop and outdoor patios at the front and rear of the building. Saint Elizabeth Home also has three separate dining rooms and covered porches for relaxing and visiting. Families can also take advantage of Saint Elizabeth Home’s public and private nursing consultation areas, if necessary.
Residents have many opportunites for social interaction, with a wide array of activities to choose from on a daily basis.
